Woodridge State High School is fortunate to have a School-Based Police Officer working with the school for two days per week.
The School-Based Police Officer role provides support for both proactive and reactive policing.
When required, the police officer works with students and families to enforce the law and uphold the standards of the Queensland community. The police officer also works with students in classes, in groups, on assemblies, on camps and excursions to provide support, information and greater understanding for students.
This partnership with Queensland Police is a very positive initiative and is a great benefit to our students and our school community.
