Academic & Leadership Academy
The Academic & Leadership Academy works to build the capabilities of our students by focusing on the key 21st Century skills of collaboration and teamwork, critical and creative thinking and communication.
Specifically, students:
- Participate in Friday Lunch 1 lessons focused on developing
- leadership and academic skills.
- Work with an academic mentor throughout the year.
- Participate in the Leadership Camp & running of the Group Project.
- Lead leadership experience days for aspiring Year 5 and 6 Leaders
The Arts Academy
The Arts Academy aims to extend ad enrich junior school students who have an interest in the Arts. Our Arts Academy classes foster and cultivate excellence in the various areas of Dance, Drama, Media, Music and Art,
Specifically, students:
- Undertake their specific area of Arts classes as part of their elective options.
- Partake in one (1) extra-curricular group in The Arts (i.e. Choir, band, dance troupe)
- Participate in an Enrichment class within The Arts on Tuesday afternoons.
Sports Academy
The Sport Academy explores traditional Health and Physical Education topics, with an increased depth around students; chosen sport. The program includes basketball, football, volleyball and rugby league.
Specifically, students:
- Undertake HPE curriculum in Sport academy classes with highly specialised sport specigic teachers and coaches.
- Further develop skills and sportsmanship through sport Enrichment classes on Tuesday afternoons.
- Participate in interschool sporting ®ional competitions for their sport.

- Captain U18 Met East State Championship team
- Represented QLD and Australia at U18 School Girls
