On Tuesday the 11th of October, the WSHS debating team ventured into the city for a tour of Parliament House.
As part of the tour, the students met with the Queensland Treasurer, The Honorable Cameron Dick. The students and the Honorable Member discussed the importance of debating skills in many careers, and how people can make a difference to their comminity through politics.
We are incredibly proud of the growth and development these students are showing, in learning about public speaking, communication, confidence and leadership.
