Special Education Programs
Our
special education program (SEP) consists of a cluster of resources. We have qualified special education teachers
and experienced teacher aides to assist students in their learning. Our school’s special education program is dedicated
to support the educational needs of students with disabilities to access,
participate and achieve at school. Our
special education program supports individual learners in the following
disability areas.
These are
the same disability areas that are recognised in the Education Adjustment
Program (EAP).
We have
programs supporting students in their individual learning needs. Our senior students are either on a QCE or
QCIA pathway while our juniors have multiple opportunities to sample the
different subjects on offer at our school.
All our
students are supported and have access to student services that will access and
address their individual needs. Some of
the services that may be available include:
We are in
the unique position where we have a large and beautiful building within our
school grounds which is well equipped with resources and the SEP is seen as an
integral part of our school community.
