Student services and support programs

  • Chaplain

    Chaplaincy in an optional service within the school, which works with students, school staff, and parents to care for the emotional and spiritual needs of the wider school community.

  • Community education counsellor

    The role of the Community Education Counsellor (CEC) is to provide educational counselling and support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

  • Guidance and counselling services

    Woodridge State High School provides a guidance and counselling service for all students and their parents/guardians and teachers.

  • Industry liaison officer

    It is the job of the ILO to liaise with industry to create and maintain partnerships with employers and trainers.

  • Resource centre

    Our resource centre has a wide selection of books and magazines to support the curriculum and to provide for the recreational and leisure needs of students and staff.

  • School based police officer

    Woodridge State High School is fortunate to have a School Based Police Officer working with the school for two days per week.

  • School based youth health nurse

    The Youth Health Nurse works with students, school staff and parents to address concerns or problems about health and wellbeing and create a more supportive, healthy school environment.

  • Youth support coordinator

    The role of the youth support co-ordinator is to provide services to young people and their families aged 14 – 17 who are at risk or disengaged from learning.
