Behaviour management

Woodridge State High School is committed to ensuring that every day, in every lesson, every student is learning and achieving within a safe, supportive and disciplined learning environment. Our School promotes a positive and inclusive community that affirms the rights of all members of the school community to feel safe and be safe at school. Our School fully recognises the reciprocal relationship between academic success, behaviour and school culture.

At Woodridge State High School, the student is held accountable for their own behaviour. When students make a poor behaviour choice, teachers, Heads of Departments, the Connections Coach and our SCS Team are all in place to support students – see Behaviour Referral Pathway.

Students are expected to be:

         In uniform everyday

         On time everyday

Learning materials in a bag everyday

Student responsible for their own behaviour everyday

Student responsible for their own learning everyday

And this is what it is all about – Graduating Class of 2016 – going onto further education or out in the workforce…
