The Knowledge Centre (library) is an active part of Woodridge State High school. We provide items to educate, to challenge, to entertain and to inform.
Our hours are from 8.00am till 3.00 pm (officially) but on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays we are open until 5.00pm staff permitting.

Our library has a number of learning spaces which include: two library annexes; two computer areas; a group study area and a reading area.

The Knowledge Centre provides many services and resources for our school.

  • Fiction and non-fiction books, magazines for curriculum as well as general interest, daily newspapers, a vertical file with current newspaper articles.
  • Homework and assignment help is available for students after school
  • Lunch activities, including games and design challenges in a Makerspace environment.
  • Computers for student access.

The dedicated library staff offers assistance to the school community in a number of areas, including:
  • Help and instruction with finding the right book for school work or special interests;
  • Assistance with the selection of reading materials;
  • The selection and processing of a wide range of resources;
  • The management, processing and distribution of class sets and resources.

All students have access to the Knowledge Centre catalogue (Smart Library) from all computers within the school and also via the internet at home. Students can find resources and access video content through the library system.
