Year 10 SOSE at Sea World

Last week, some of our Year 10 SOSE classes were given the opportunity to attend an excursion to Sea World. This opportunity was provided as part of our Geography program. The focus of this particular unit is the impact of humans and our activities on the Great Barrier Reef. While students enjoyed their day out at a theme park, they also gained a broader level of knowledge on how human’s impact on our environment, specific species and what can be done to combat these issues. This information is to be included in their forthcoming Geography Report.
