Sorry day ceremony

The Woodridge school community has remembered the significance of saying "sorry" over the last 2 weeks. Students commemorated the anniversary the Government's apology to the Stolen Generations through the creation of message sticks, symbolically presented at school assemblies over the past 2 weeks.  Some of our school's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students hosted the ceremony. A community morning tea was held in the Bulkairi Space after the official event.
